OUR APPROACH
The Double Point Pump is a versatile pump. Every application is different, which is why the pump can be customised to handle specific jobs. As a client, together with our technical engineer Gert Jan Droogers, you determine the requirements the pump must meet, like a specific size, the connections, power, the materials from which the pump needs to be made, etc. So the development of the pump is truly a collaborative effort. Depending on the extent of the modifications compared to the standard pump, we go through a number of steps. And this is how we approach it:
COLLABORATION
IN 6 STEPS

1. Introduction session
During this session we present a technical demonstration (working version) of the pump. Together we assess the benefits for your application and outline the approach to be taken during application research.
2. Application research
After the introduction, we carry out application research to determine the specifications for the pump. We use the findings to develop the first prototype.
3. Prototyping & testing
After the application research, we develop a prototype which we test together. After the test, the prototype is further developed until it meets the requirements.
4. Product development
Once the prototypes have been tested and a final design has been agreed on, the final product is developed.
5. Product selection
Together we investigate who will manufacture the pump. Double Point Pump guides the first production to a final product and takes the lead in this process.
6. Licence agreement
Once the final product and production have been arranged, we agree on a licence. This licence is valid for a minimum of five years and is based on right of use of the design and production quantity.
